Project Overview
Conceived and executed “Makeup” — an Instagram-style social app for visualizing and sharing makeup pouch contents — as a new business initiative for a major cosmetics company. Leveraging an “isolated venture” strategy, the entire project was run under ANDOOR’s own branding, deliberately separating it from the parent company’s name.

Business Planning & Approval: Designed the business concept around the consumer insight that people want to see what’s inside others’ makeup pouches. Navigated the client’s internal budget approval process.

iOS App Development: Built an offshore development partnership and led the creation of a native iOS app. Served as product owner — overseeing UX design, specification, and development direction.

PoC Execution: Conducted proof-of-concept testing with fashion school students as the target demographic. Captured real usage data alongside qualitative insights through user interviews.

Validation & Reporting: Analyzed PoC results and delivered the data and insights needed for go/no-go business decisions.
Results
